BUP convocation today

The 3rd convocation of Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP) will be held on university campus at Mirpur cantonment in the capital today, says a press release.
President Md Abdul Hamid and chancellor of the university will present at the ceremony as chief guest.
 
JU mathematics dept reunion Feb 12

The 3rd reunion of the Jahangirnagar University Alumni Association of Mathematics (JUAAM) will be held on the campus on February 12.
Chairman of mathematics department Professor Abdur Rab, also member-secretary of 3rd reunion organising committee, disclosed the matter at a press conference at JU
Journalist Association (JUJA) office yesterday while associate professor Osman Gani was also present.
The registration process is going on and last date of the registration on January 25, he added. The participants could pay their registration fees through bKash or bank while each ex-student registration fee Tk 700, current students Tk 300 and family members Tk 300 each.

NUS Professor meets DU VC

Professor of the School of Public Policy of National University of Singapore (NUS) Dr John Vong called on Dhaka University (DU) Vice-Chancellor AAMS Arefin Siddique at the latter's office of the university on Tuesday.
During the meeting they discussed various issues including good governance and socio-economic development in Bangladesh, said a press release.
The possibilities of undertaking joint collaborative academic and research programs by the University of Dhaka and National University of Singapore were also discussed in the meeting.
Chairman of the Department of Development Studies of DU M Abu Eusuf, Taiabur Rahman, Kazi Maruful Islam and Lecturer Ebney Ayaj Rana were present on this occasion.
