Shamsul Hasan Miah new PDB chairman

Engineer Md Shamsul Hasan Miah took over the charge as new chairman of Bangladesh Power Development Board (PDB) yesterday.
Prior to his new appointment, he was the member (company affairs) of PDB, said a press release.
He was born on 1957 in Narsingdi district.
Shamsul joined Power Development Board as assistant engineer in 1980.
Later, he served the  PDB as executive engineer, superintendent engineer, and chief engineer. He also headed the Independent Power Pro-ducers (IPP) cell of the PDB for a long time.
