BCL activist hurt by fellow

A Chattra League (BCL) activist was injured by his fellow man in Shamimabad area in Sylhet city yesterday. The injured person was identified as Kazi Habib, a student of BBA fourth year in the city;s International University.
Sources said, a group of BCL led by Sagar and Sohel attacked Habib on the International University campus with sharp weapon for change the group, leaving him critically injured.  Later, he was rushed to Sylhet Osmani Medical College Hospital for treatment.
UNB adds: A schoolgirl was crushed under the wheels of a CNG-run auto-rickshaw at Ballah village in Jakiganj upazila on Monday afternoon.
The deceased was identified as Majeda Akhter Popy, daughter of Abdul Baset, a resident of the village and a class III student of Ballah Government Primary School.
