Terming the match is very important, both coaches and captains of Bangladesh and Kyrgyzstan, expressed their optimistic to win the opening match of the FIFA World Cup qualifiers today at Bangabandhu National Stadium. The match will kick-off at 5 pm.

Mamun, replying to a query about their fumbling  at the last stage of the match said, “Actually, in the last few matches we went down with conceding goals at the last moments and after taking the lead because we adopted too much defensive formation.”
“It happens because we are used to in our domestic competitions, even it has become a regular practice in the international arena also. But coach does not like this kind of attitude, his direction to us to avoid this bad practice and come forward with positive approach.”
Coach Kurif, who has been revolving Bangladesh team for last two years, thinks that there is a huge change in the team. “If you questioned what  are the changes, I can tell you, we made a lot of progression in last two years and gained some experiences. You can see now we have some players, who are able to play full 90 minutes game.”
“Anyway, we talked much about the matches, we had some trouble with players’ injury but we tried our best and in some respect a little bit more to prepare for the matches. Everybody is in good condition, good health and hopefully they will fight to win.”
“Might be they were not strong team two years before, but now they have good quality players and have become a very strong side. Most of the players of this team play in the high level outside the country in Russian League, German League and Turkish league,” said Kruif.
The Kyrgyz team manger, coach and also the captain did not say a lot about their preparation but to say it is very much important match for them and a big encounter.
Coach Alexander Krestinin said, “Yes, we have been in a training camp in UAE before coming here. Bangladesh will play at their home ground, it’s great and extra motivation for them.”
