14 DITF stalls fined

Fourteen stalls at Dhaka International Trade Fair have been fined Tk 48,000 for violating the Consumer Rights Protection Act, reports UNB. The Directorate of National Consumers Rights Protection slapped the fine on the stalls on January 10-16, said a PID handout on Sunday. The stalls were fined for various charges – for not having MRP tags on the item packs and not hanging price list.
