BU Shuvo completes century with �Chotushkon�

Celebrity cast to appear in the director�s 100th project

For noted director BU Shuvo, this year will certainly be an auspicious one indeed, as he is all set for the release of his 100th project. DhakaLive has news that popular actors Emon, Nirob, Ishika and Orin will appear together in the Shuvo-directed telefilm titled ‘Chotushkon’, which will be the director’s 100th project. The telefilm is written by Professor Shushmin Afsana from Rajshahi University.
DhakaLive has news that Emon, Nirob, Ishika and Orin will be present with their actual names in the tele-film.
Emon said about acting in the telefilm, “I am usually busy with film projects, but the story of this telefilm is so extraordinary that I did the work with the utmost eagerness. Also, my good friend Nirob is also acting in it, which motivated me further to be a part of it. As a director, Shuvo earned himself a great reputation.”
Nirob had similar thoughts, “Usually I prefer to work in films.  However, it was a long-time dream of BU Shuvo to cast both Emon and myself in a project together. The fact that we--two friends--could lend out a hand to make his dream come true,  that is certainly a matter of great joy.”
Ishika said, “I played a crucial role in the telefilm, which comes with a lot of twist. I hope the viewers appreciate it.”
Orin said, “The work was very challenging for me, but fortunately, with the support and guidance of my co-artistes and BU Shuvo, I did my best and I sincerely hope the viewers will like the performance.”
To note, BU Shuvo came into the limelight by directing a tele-drama titled ‘Chena Chena Laage’ with Apurba and Shokh four years ago. Since then, he has directed 99 tele-dramas, telefilms and drama serials.
‘Chotushkon’ will be aired on ATN Bangla on Valentine’s Day at 11 pm. l
