Four killed in accidents

For people were killed in separate road accidents in Barhmanbaria and Noakhali districts yesterday morning, reports UNB. In Brahmanbaria, a man and his son were killed when a truck hit a motorcycle on the Brahmanbaria- Comilla highway at Suhilpur area of Ashuganj upazila. The deceased were identified as Rony, 35, and his son Imran Khan, 7. In Noakhali, two people were killed and three others injured as a microbus hit a CNG-run auto-rickshaw on Laxmipur-Begumganj road in Begumganj upazila yesterday. The deceased were identified as Helal, 25, and Kabir, 28. Mohammad Zaher, sub-inspector of Chandraganj highway police, said the  accident took place at about 7:30am as the microbus hit the auto-rickshaw while overtaking, leaving Helal dead on the spot and four others injured. The injured were rushed to Noakhali General Hospital where Kabir succumbed to his injuries.
