The extent of losses of human lives during earthquake could be reduced substantially through creating awareness among the community people and adopting early preparedness with efficient emergency response systems, reports BSS.

Assistant Director of the Fire Service & Civil Defense Lokman Hossain, Course Coordinator Shahidul Islam, Project Coordinator of 'Pollishree' Shahanaz Parveen and its Precocity Communication Officer Rezaul Karim also spoke on the occasion.
Course Coordinator Shahidul Islam narrated objectives of the training course and importance of creating adequate awareness on earthquake among the commoners.
