A high-flying Bangladesh look to tighten the grip of the four-match T20 series when they take on Zimbabwe in the second match today at Sheikh Abu Naser Stadium in Khulna. The match starts at 3pm. Bangladesh cruised Zimbabwe past by four wickets in the first match, going per popular expectation to make a good start to the year. However the performance was scratchy, according to the captain Mashrafe Bin Mortaza who wants more vigor and purpose. Mashrafe however was pleased with the role of his senior players who, despite the change of batting position, chipped-in-with valuable scores in crucial moments. The change of batting position was for the sake of experimenting which Bangladesh are doing to get a proper combination ahead of the Asia Cup and World T20. Bangladesh team management made it clear they would keep experimenting with the batting and bowling position but it is highly unlikely that the winning-squad will be changed. “We want to win four matches in a row, so we’ll remain serious always. Because the winning-streak is important to boost the confidence,” Bangladesh batsman Sabbir Rahman said.
