Cambodia stun Bangladesh Olympic team

Sports Reporter

Bangladesh Olympic team finished their campaign of the Bangabandhu Gold Cup International Football tournament with a sorry note when they went down to Cambodia by a solitary goal at the Bangabandhu National Stadium in the capital yesterday. Bangladesh Olympic side, who had a slim hope to move into the semifinal before the match between Maldives and Bahrain, were eliminated from the tournament after the draw as the latter left the hosts behind obtaining five points. So, the match of Bangladesh and Cambodia became only to maintain the formalities but the hosts boys had the opportunity to prove them against the team, who conceded defeats in their both previous encounters. Dina Tit, who scored one off their two goals against Maldives, finally broke the deadlock on 71st minute when the Cambodian forward was allowed to enter into the box with Reza and Kesto failing to stop him before Dina sending the ball into the far post (1-0).
