Trawler capsizes in Bagerhat

Bagerhat: A trawler capsized in the Dartana River in Bisnapur area of Sadar upazila yesterday, reports UNB.
Fire brigade officials said the boat carrying 150 passengers and some daily essentials capsized in the area around 3:30pm while going to Morelganj upazila from KB Ghat area.
However, all the passengers managed to swim ashore before a rescue team from Bagerhat Fire Station reached the area.
Quoting the passengers, Abu Mohar Minu, an official of Bagerhat Fire Station, said the boat turned turtle in the river due to overloading.
