Brahmanbaria: Railways Minister Mazibul Hoque said those who carried out attack on the Brahmanbaria railway station are against the country’s independence, Islam and peace, reports UNB.
“The attackers do not want that the country’s people will live in peace,” he told reporters after visiting the railway station yesterday. Some madrasah students vandalised and set ablaze Brahmanbaria Railway Station on Tuesday (January 12) following the death of a fellow student in a clash.
RAM Obaidul Muktadir Chowdhury, chairman of the parliamentary standing committee on the ministry of Chittagong Hill Tracts Affairs, Muhammad Mosharraf Hossain, deputy commissioner of Brahmanbaria and Makbul Ahmed, general manager of railway (east), among others, were present during the minister’s visit.
