SYLHET: Members of Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) on Friday arrested the prime accused in the case for the killing of two employees of Banoful sweet manufacturing company from Darbasta area in Jaintapur upazila, reports UNB.
The arrestee was identified as Afzal Hossain alias Razib, son of Malai Mia of Khadimpara area of the city.
Tipped off, a team of Rab-9 Sylhet camp, led by Additional Superintendent of Police SM Tanvir Arafat, conducted a drive in the area and arrested Razib around 2:30 pm, said Rab sources.
Razib was wanted in several cases, including for murder, snatching, extortion and arson attack. On January 8, two employees-- Raju, 19, of Chandpur, and Tabuk Miah, 20, of Shariatpur, of Banoful & Co Ltd, were chopped to death.
