Goldsmith hacked dead in Keraniganj

A goldsmith was hacked to death by miscreants at Zianagar in Dhaka’s Keraniganj yesterday, reports UNB. The deceased was identified as Jhantu Ghosh, 22, son of Prafullah Ghosh of Atibazar in Keraniganj. Sources at Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) said a group of 3-4 miscreants hacked  Jhantu indiscriminately with sharp weapons in Zianagar Malanchg ground area around 6pm, leaving him injured. He was taken to the DMCH where doctors declared him dead. The reason behind the attack could not be known immediately.
