CHITTAGONG: Chittagong district police in separate drives arrested 83 people from different upazilas of the district on Thursday night, reports BSS. Abdul Awal, additional superintendent of police (Special Branch) of Chittagong district, said police detained 83 persons from different upazilas of the district for their alleged involvement in sabotage acts and vandalism. The police also seized 660 yaba tablets and 125 liters of country-made liquors during the drives.The detainees also include 72 arrest warrantees and eight accused in regular cases, he added.
