Bangladesh and Nepal shared points after a goalless draw in their last group match but both the sides moved into semifinal of the Bangabandhu Gold Cup Football Tournament yesterday. Bangladesh and Nepal, both were in a tough position on their way to qualify into the semifinal, as they obtained four points each but the defeat of Malaysia to Sri Lanka made them relaxed. The defeat of Malaysia made the way clear for Bangladesh national team and Nepal, as both of them qualified in the semifinal before facing in their last group match at Bangabandhu National Stadium and it has become turned into an encounter to decide the group champions. In a tension free mach Bangladesh played disciplined with holding the ball possession, as they had to settle for a point to clinch the top position in the group and were also playing with commanding position but could trouble the defenders for twice in the first half.
