Change to metro rail route demanded

The general students of Dhaka University (DU) yesterday again demanded authority concern to change the proposed metro rail route planned to be built through DU campus.
They demanded it from a press conference under the banner of ‘General Students of DU’ held at the Mahdur canteen of the university at noon.
While reading out a written statement, Taisha Tasrin, a DU student said that our movement is not against development activities of the state but we want to implement the development activities without any questions.   
She also announced that they will organise a solidarity rally at the foot of Raju Sculpture near TSC of DU on January 20 in this regard.
