Student found dead in Khulna

KHULNA: Police recovered a body of final year student of Khulna Law College in front of Sundarban Model College yesterday, reports BSS.
The deceased was identified as Moshiur Rahman, son of Shah Alam, residence at Gagon Babu Road area in the city.
Police and family members of the deceased said, there was a long time feud between Moshiur and his rival over a land dispute.
On January 5, criminals abducted Moshiur from the city and demanded Tk 20 lakh for ransom to his father.
The victims father filed a GD to RAB-6 headquarter in this connection.
The members of RAB arrested abductor Azad Mallick after tracking the mobile phone on January 12.
On his confessional statement, Khulna thana police recovered the decomposed body of Moshiur.
Officer-in-Charge of Khulna Police Station Shafiqul Islam said, Moshiur might have been killed in previous enmity. We are investigating the matter, he said.
Azad Mallick, father of the victims filed a case against 10 persons to Khulna Model Police Station.
