Chittagong City Corporation (CCC) yesterday pulled down four more billboards and ten mega signboards from city’s gate no.2 to GEC intersection area and fined Tk 16,000 to four advertisement companies.
CCC resumed eviction drive against illegal hoardings in the premier port city from June 1, 2015 after six months, as per the direction of its newly elected mayor AJM Nasir Uddin.
Nazia Shirin, executive magistrate of CCC led the drive for the fifth days at city’s Gate No.2. During the drive the magistrate fined Tk 16,000 to four advertisement companies for erecting illegal billboards.
