Foolproof security measures for Indian team

Sports Reporter

Khan Shaheb Osman Ali Stadium (KSOAS) is geared up to host the much-anticipated Test between the hosts Bangladesh and high-ranked India.
Centering the Test match, which returns to Fatullah’s ground after nine-year hiatus, the renovation works have been done since last few months. Even the pitch of the ground has been built-up newly, which already hogged the headline into the national and international media for its novelty features.
“No international match has been held here for many days. So, we have to work at Futullah’s ground ahead of the lone Test match,” said Abdul Baten, national manager of the BCB ground and facilities.
Beside the preparation works, Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has taken a bunch of additional security measures keeping the controversial World Cup match between the two neighbouring teams in the ICC World Cup Down Under earlier this year in mind.
Bangladesh fans were enraged and furious while several umpiring decisions in that match went against Tigers shattering their high-hopes to reach the semifinals of the flagship event for the first time.
Hussain Imam, chief security of BCB, acknowledged the matter and said that they have taken additional security steps for the visiting side not only at Fatullah but also every playing ground during the tour to avert any untoward incident.
It is known that a total of 650 security and law enforcing personnel will deploy surrounding the venue and its adjacent areas to ensure the peaceful ambience as part of security measures.
