US Counterterrorism Bureau team in city

A three-member team of the US Department of State’s Counterterrorism Bureau is now in Dhaka to discuss issues of mutual interest with government officials, reports UNB. The visiting team held meetings with Home and Foreign Ministry officials yesterday, said a diplomatic source.  The US officials will hold another meeting with officials of the Civil Aviation Authority on Tuesday. The delegation is reviewing key elements of Bangladesh-US bilateral cooperation, including ‘robust collaboration’ on security issues, said sources.
