Child killing protested

Human Rights Forum, a platform of the human rights activists in Jhenidah, yesterday organised a human chain to protest against the spate of killings of minor boys in the district and elsewhere in the country. The speakers on the occasion recalled with great concern over burning alive of three brothers -Shiplu, 10, Amin, 8, and Mahim, 14, of Kabirpur village by their uncle on January 3. Five-year-boy Saurav Das, son of Babul Das, was hacked to death by unidentified criminals in December last year. Further, hundreds of children were the victims of killing throughout the country in last year that has been continuing, they said.
