Admit Fakhrul to hospital: HC
The High Court (HC) yesterday ordered the authorities concerned to admit BNP Acting Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir to Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) immediately for medical treatment.
In response to a petition filed by Fakhruls wife Rahat Ara Begum, the vacation bench of the High Court comprising Justice Naima Haider and Justice Md Iqbal Kabir passed the order.
Rahat Ara filed the petition on Monday seeking HC directive for admitting Fakhrul to BSMMU or Birdem hospital for proper treatment as her husband has been suffering from various diseases including diabetes and heart complications.
