Rahman new MD, CEO of Mercantile Bank

Kazi Masihur Rahman recently joined Mercantile Bank Ltd as managing director and CEO, says a press release.
He is a senior banker with thirty eight years experience in the financial industry. Rahman served as CEO of Exim Bank and DMD of Prime Bank. Prior to joining Mercantile Bank he was engaged as Consultant of BGB for establishing Shimanto Bank (proposed).
After completing Masters in Economics from Dhaka University, he started his banking career with Sonali Bank as a Probationary Officer in 1977 and served in various capacities in Sonali Bank Head Office and branches in Bangladesh and UK. In 1988.  Rahman joined BASIC Bank as Company Secretary and Head of Corporate Affairs.
