Two killed in road mishap  

Two persons were killed in a head-on collision between a truck and a human hauler at Koilabari in Shibganj upazila yesterday morning. The deceased were identified as driver of the human hauler Mozammel Hoque, 40, of Mirjapur Bangalpara and Babul Hossain, 45, of Namochakpara, in the upazila. Police said the accident took place as the truck crashed into the three-wheeler coming from the opposite direction on Chapainawabganj-Sonamasjid road at around 8.30 am. Mozammel died on the spot and Babul, passenger of the human hauler, succumbed to his injuries on the way to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital. After hitting the human hauler the truck turned turtle beside the road.
