The 36th BCS preliminary examination was held simultaneously in Dhaka, Chittagong, Rajshahi, Barisal, Khulna, Sylhet and Rangpur centres yesterday, reports UNB.
The two-hour test ended at 11:30 am beginning from 9:30 am. Over 2 lakh examinees took part in the preliminary test.
Earlier, the Bangladesh Public Service Commission (BPSC) banned using calculators, wrist watch or pocket watch or electronic watch during the BCS preliminary examination but it allowed calculator use for written tests.
