DL DESK

Popular model Brishti, who came into the limelight by appearing in various TVCs (Television commercials) for several renowned brands, has worked again as a model in five more new ventures. She has already completed the work surrounding four of the TVCs, while she will take part in the shooting of the remaining TVC today at the Coke Studio at the city’s Tejgaon area. Brishti’s new TVCs include Ashfaque Bipul’s SMC Energy Drinks, Tito Rahman’s RFL Flask and ACI Salt, Amlan Biswas’s Motrek Bike and Partho Pratim’s Symphony phone. She has already appeared in six TVCs in just a short span of time in which her career began.
Regarding her professional media career, Brishti said, “My professional media career kicked off through acting in a film. The official launch of the film has yet to take place, but my ultimate goal and determination is to work in film and for that I aim to further establish myself in acting and gain more experience. For the time being I want to work in TVCs and tele-dramas. Since I am very busy with my studies, working within Dhaka would be ideal for me.”
She informed that she established a good rapport with the media through her acting in the film ‘Safia’, directed by Masudul Hasan. The official launch of the film has not yet taken place, but she appeared in the shooting of the promo. She first appeared as a model for a Samsung phone commercial, directed by Ashfaque Bipul. She further appeared in two more commercials for Robi by the same director and then appeared yet again for two more Robi commercials by Mostafa Sarwar Farooki and Amitabh Reza. The only television drama in which Brihsti acted is ‘Fright Night’, directed by Tanim Rahman Angshu, which was aired on Bangladesh Television recently.
Currently a student of BBA at the city’s Northern University, Brishti grew up as an avid fan of late actor Salman Shah and actress Mousumi after watching ‘Keyamat Theke Keyamat’. She began to pursue her acting career as a tribute and in memory of Salman Shah. l
