7 get life term in Bappi murder case

A court in Jessore convicted and sentenced seven persons to life term imprisonment each in Buppi murder case. They have also been fined Tk 5,000 each, in default, to suffer six month more rigorous imprisonment.
The convicted accused are Sumon Chowdhury, Roki and Shoue of Chanchra Dalmill, Sabuj of Chanchra Tatultola, Zahangir Hossain of Rail gate area and Nahid Alam Nayon, Mukul  and Rayhan of West-para in Rail gate area. Two persons were acquitted from the charge.
The Judge of Speedy Tribunal Court Khulna, MR Rab Howlader,  after examining witnesses and relevant papers found the seven persons guilty and annou-nced the verdict yesterday afternoon. According to PP of Speedy Tribunal Court Jessore unit Enamul Haque, Aminur rahman Bappi, who was the organising secretary of Proj-anma League in Jessore, was killed on 11 March in 2012 in front of  Nasim Tea stall at Chanchra in the town over political enmity. Father of Bappi Md Mnir Hossain filed a murder case with the Kotwali police station accusing 8 persons in this connection.
