5th Prokriti Mela to be held today

Aiming to create public awareness on various elements of environment and nature, Channel i, in association with Prokriti O Jibon Foundation, has organised a day-long fair titled ‘5th Fresh-Channel i Prokriti Mela 2016’, which is going to take place in the Channel i premises today. Information Minister Hasanul Haque Inu, along with Environment and Forest Minister Anwar Hossain Manju and Dhaka North City Corporation Mayor Anisul Haque will inaugurate the fair today at 11.05am. The day-long fair will feature character’s show, puppet show, nature related songs, dance, poetry recitation, tree plantation, drawing competition, mime, gambhira, jatra pala, photo exhibition, stalls of sea fish, butterfly exhibition and much more. The day-long programme will be aired live on Channel i.
