JCD leader sent to jail

Police arrested a leader of Jatiotabadi Chatra Dal (JCD) from Kumar Para area of the city on early yesterday on charge of his alleged involvement in sabotage activists. The arrestee was as Shakil Murshed, former joint organising secretary of district JCD unit. Police said a team of Kotwali police arrested the JCD leader from his resident. Later, he was produce before the court and it sent Shakil to jail said, Shuhel Ahmed officer-in-charge of Kotwali police station.
