Village doctor found dead in Jhenidah

A village doctor was found dead at Belekhan Bazaar in Sadar upazila yesterday afternoon. The deceased was identified as Samir Uddin Mandal, 85, of Kaluhati village in the upazila.
OC of Sadar police Hasan Hafizur Rahman said locals found the body of Samir in his dispensary at Belekhan Bazar at around 2pm and informed police. Later, police recovered the body that bore several stab injury marks.
Police said criminals might have killed Samir over previous enmity.
