The 36th Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) preliminary test will be held at 161 centres across the country today.
A total of 2,11,326 examinees will sit for the 200-mark MCQ test for two hours.
The examinees will have to reach their respective centres between 8:20am to 8:55am. The answer papers will be supplied at 9am while the question papers will be given at 9:30am and the test will conclude at 11:30am.
The seat plans and necessary details are available on Bangladesh Public Service Commission (BPSC) website www.bpsc.gov.bd.
As per the circular of the 36th BCS, there were 2,180 vacant posts including the posts of 524 general cadres.
The BPSC has imposed some strict measures for this year’s test as it has banned electronic gadgets including calculators and watches at exam halls. Defaulters will have their instruments seized, candidacy cancelled and declared ineligible.
