A 34-member business team led by Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI) president Abdul Matlub Ahmed left Dhaka yesterday for Kolkata, reports BSS.
During the visit, they will take part a two-day "Bengal Global Business Summit" aimed at boosting the regional connectivity, investment and export, said a press release.
Chief Minister of West Bengal Mamata Banerjee is expected to attend the inaugural session of the summit as chief guest on January 8, the release added.
Later, some members of the Bangladesh delegation led by Commerce Minister Tofail Ahmed will take part in "The Partnership Summit" on January 10-12 at the Indian State of Andhra Pradesh.
