3 shops fined

Kishoreganj: A mobile court in a drive fined three drugstores for selling unregistered and expired medicine in Station Road area of the district town on Wednesday noon, reports UNB.
During the drive, the mobile court realised Tk1.70 lakh in fine from the three drug stores for selling unregistered and date expired medicines.The mobile court fined Mrs Prohor Medical Hall Tk1.50 lakh for both the offences while it fined Mrs Rupa Medical Hall and Sumana Medical Hall Tk10,000 each for selling expired medicines.
Additional Deputy Commissioner Torofdar Mohammad Aktar Jamil and executive magistrate Abu Taher Sayeed confirmed the incident.
