Certificate and prize distribution programme of Trust Technical Training Institute (TTTI) in Gazipur, a vocational training institute run by Bangladesh Army, was held at its conference room yesterday.
Primary and Mass Education Minister Advocate Mostafizur Rahman gave away prizes and certificates to the students of July-December 2015 session as the chief guest.TTTI Principal Lt. Col. (retired) Asadur Rahman Khan PSC presided over the programme. Adjutant General of Bangladesh Army and also Chairman of TTTI Board of Directors Major General Md Mahfuzur Rahman spoke as the special guest.
A total of 683 students of eight trade courses and winners of language competition of English and Arabic language courses were provided with certificates at the programme.
TTTI sources said the institute was established on June 1, 2009 by the Bangladesh Army on the premises of Bangladesh Machine Tools Factory at Shimoltoli in Gazipur city to train the unemployed youths under the Skill and training enhancement project (STEP) of the World Bank.
