Shooting of �Dudu Miyan� finally ends

The shooting of the film ‘Dudu Miyan’, which had become an uncertain issue even to the lead roles of the film as they were doubting that the undone part of the film’s work will not see any light further, has finally come to end with filming its last scene on Tuesday.
The two lead casts of the film, Amin Khan and Nawshin, had almost forgotten about the film or left the hope as the film started filming in December in 2012. But proving their notion wrong, the shooting was packed on January 5 with a court room scene, the set for the final scene was made in the capital Banashree area.
Director of the film Dayel Rahman, said about the progress of the film’s work, “We finally could end the shooting. Now, the editing is about to complete and its dubbing is also underway.”
After completing all necessary works and procedures, the film is expected to release in coming April, the director extended his hope.
To note, the film is based on the life and movement of Dudu Miyan (1819-1862), who succeeded to the leadership of the Faraizi Movement after the death of his father, Haji Shariatullah, in 1840. Born in 1819 in a village of Madaripur of the greater Faridpur district, Dudu Mia’s real name was Muhsinuddin Ahmad, while ‘Dudu Miyan’ being his fond name.
