The eleventh edition of the ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup 2016 is knocking at the door as the mega event for the youth will be held on the home soil just after two-week hiatus.
Bangladesh are eying to clinch their maiden trophy this time. And so, they have been preparing themselves by doing intense regular practice. They need to be plucky and mentally stiffer to implement their dream.
After holding a light practice, all the junior Tigers assembled at the conference room of the National Cricket Academy, where Bangladesh ODI and T20 skipper Mashrafe Bin Mortaza appeared at with the technical advisor Stuart Law, head coach Mizanur Rahman Babul and BCB technical committee member ASM Faruque.
Mashrafe shared his World Cup experience with them to brace them up and inspire them for their upcoming World Cup to be commenced from January 27.
Bangladesh will begin their World Cup campaign with the match of South Africa in the second match of the opening day following their two warm-up matches against Zimbabwe on January 23 at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chittagong and England on January 25 at the same venue.
Bangladesh, who have been drawn in the Group-A along with South Africa, Scotland and Namibia, will next face Scotland and will lock horns with Namibia in the third and last group phase match on February 2.
