The Parliamentary Standing Committee on Ministry of Chittagong Hill Tracts (CHT) yesterday recommended changing the necessary laws for executing the Chittagong Hill Tracts Peace Accord, reports BSS.
The committee made the recommendation in its 14th meeting at the Jatiya Sangsad (JS) Bhaban with its Chairman RAM Obaidul Muktadir Chaudhury in the chair, a press release said.  Committee members State Minister for Chittagong Hill Tracts Bir Bahadur Ushswe Sing, M Abdul Latif, Kujendra Lal Tripura, Usaton Talukdar, Firoza Begum Cinu and MA Awal attended the meeting.
