National Bank�s profit up by 2.95pc

The profit of National Bank Limited (NBL), country's one of the leading private commercial bank, went up by 2.95 per cent in 2015.
 Tk 846 crore operating profit for the year 2015 was the highest among the conventional private commercial banks, according to NBL.
NBL had earned Tk 821.78 crore operating profit in 2014."The bank has achieved an operating profit of Tk 846 crore in the previous year despite increased competitions and adverse investment climate," a senior NBL official told The Independent yesterday.
