DU Bose Lecture to be held today
The 'Bose Lecture-2016' will be held at the Nabab Nawab Ali Chowdhury Senate Bhaban of Dhaka University today.
Marking the 122nd birth anniversary of noted scientist Professor Satyendra Nath Bose, Bose Centre for Advance Studies and Research in Natural Science of DU will organise the programme, said a press release yesterday.
DU Vice-Chancellor AAMS Arefin Siddique will attend the programme as the chief guest with Director of Bose Centre Shamima Chowdhury in the chair.
Science Faculty Dean M Abdul Aziz will attend the programme as the special guest while Retired Professor of Physics department Muhammad Ibrahim will deliver the keynote speech.
