Nawshaba works under Prachi�s direction

Audience-admired actress-director Rokeya Prachi has directed a new tele-drama titled ‘Overtram’ based on a true story, in which popular actress Nawshaba has worked under Rokeya Prachi’s direction for the first time. Written by Mehdi Hasan Piyal, the tele-drama evolves around a couple, who blackmails the affluent society. Regarding the tele-drama and actress Nawshaba, Rokeya Prachi said, “I was eager to direct the tele-drama after reading the story written by Mehdi Hasan Piyal, which is based on true events. Even though this is the first time that Nawshaba has worked under my direction, I have always been impressed by her acting. She is very supportive and cooperative artiste. I hope the viewers appreciate the tele-drama.”
Nawshaba also shared her excitement about the tele-drama, “I am very grateful to Rokeya Prachi for giving me the opportunity to play such a challenging role in the tele-drama. I have gained valuable tips about acting from her, which will no doubt help me out in the future.” To note, Rokeya Prachi-directed drama serial ‘Tabuo Manush Swapna Dekhe’ will start airing on Ekushey TV soon. Besides, Prachi-acted drama serial ‘Parampara’ is regularly being aired on SATV.
On the other hand, Nawshaba has recently started the work for Dipankar Dipon’s film ‘Dhaka Attack’, where she will be appearing opposite Shatabdi Wahdud.
