Reckless bus kills fire service staff

CHITTAGONG: A fire service staff was killed in a road accident at Sitakunda Bazaar in Sitakunda upazila of the district yesterday afternoon, reports BSS. The deceased was identified as Maharram Ali, 29, hailed from Manoharganj of Comilla.  Police said Maharram, a cook at Sitakunda Fire Service Station, was critically injured after he was run over by a bus while crossing the road in the area. He was rushed to the upazila health complex and later shifted to Chittagong Medical College Hospital, where the attending doctors declared him dead.
