Three people were killed in separate road accidents in the capital yesterday. In Motijheel, a bus of ATCL Paribahan crushed a woman when she was crossing the road at Motijheel in the capital leaving her dead on the spot at around 12:45 pm. She was identified as Morsheda Begum, 52, wife of Humayun Kabir, a resident of Dakkhin Kamlapur area of the capital, said Sub-Inspector Liton Das, of Motijheel Police Station. In Gulistan, folk singer Ustad Alauddin Kha was killed when a speedy bus of BN Paribahan crashed him at Zero Point area in Gulistan around 12:30pm. SI Masum Farazi of Shahbagh Police Station admitted the incident and told that they seized the bus but the driver escaped. In Gabtali, Emdadul Haque Bacchi, 48, who came to the city from Kishorganj for seeking a job, was killed when a bus crashed him at Gabtali Bus Terminal area around 3pm.
