AL, BNP get permission for meetings

Chittagong Metropolitan Police (CMP) gave an approval to hold meeting to the ruling party Amami League and Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) today (Tuesday). CMP permitted Awami League to hold meeting of Central Shaheed Minar area of Chittagong while BNP got permission to hold meeting in front of Nasiman Bhaban (BNP’s Office) in Kazir Dewari area. Devdas Bhattacharya, additional police commissioner (Crime & Operation), said “We gave permission to both parties to hold meetings on January 5.
