Sri Lanka will be the first team to arrive in Dhaka tomorrow 5:30pm to participate in the Bangabanhu Gold Cup International Football. Malaysia and Nepal are scheduled to land in Bangladesh capital on January 7. The eight teams tournament will kick-off January 8.
The Bangladesh Football Federation is yet to confirm the arrival scheduled of Bahrain, Cambodia and Maldives. Host Bangladesh will field two teams—national team and Bangladesh Olympic team.
Meanwhile, all 23 players with a fresh vision of doing better in the Bangabandhu Gold Cup Football tournament reported to new manager Ilias Hossain and also left for Jessore, where the tournament would be inaugurated and some of the matches will also be held there.
Before leaving the Bangladesh Football Federation Bhaban, all the players and the officials met the BFF president, vice-presidents and also had a lunch with them when the high ups of the BFF briefed the players about their mission for Bangabandhu Cup.
The BFF president asked the players to make afresh start just forgetting what happened in the SAFF Championship.
Meanwhile, Jahid Hossain Emily, who was forced to leave the national camp at the last moment and failed to go to India had again called for the Bangabandhu Cup while Sohel Rana and Mithun Chowdhury also were called.
Besides, Emily, Sohel Ran and Mithun the team fully was almost same as in the SAFF.
