The Maldives has expressed its interest in recruiting more Bangladeshi doctors in that country.
During a meeting with Foreign Minister Abul Hassan Mahmood Ali at his office yesterday, newly-appointed Maldivian High Commissioner Dr Mohammad Asim also sought Bangladesh’s assistance in higher education and training in different sectors, said a Foreign Ministry press release.
Mentioning vast experience of the Maldives with regard to deep-sea fishing, the Foreign Minister expressed Dhaka’s willingness to jointly work with Male.
