Bank official dies in road crash

Magura: A bank official was killed and 10 other people were injured as a bus plunged into a ditch in Sadar upazila yesterday, reports UNB. The deceased was identified as Rafiqul Islam, 28, a field officer of Mercantile bank, Jessore branch and a resident of Omedpur village in the upazila. OC of Magura police Ajmal Huda said the Jessore-bound bus from Magura fell into the ditch in front of Magura Textile Mill around 8am after its driver lost control over the steering, leaving Rafiqul dead on
the spot and 10 injured.
