Honours students demand change in exam schedule

OUR CORRESPONDENT, Chapainawabganj

Third year honours students of the Nawabganj Government College formed a human chain and staged a protest rally in front of the college yesterday demanding change in the schedule of their examination. The students said they appeared in the 2nd year examination only four months ago and it would be difficult for them to sit for another exam shortly. The National University took first year examination after 18 months of admission and later it gave a gap of 15 months to hold 2nd year examination. But it has now scheduled to start the 3rd year exam on January 20, four months after the last one was held, they said. The students said they have had fewer classes and are yet to complete the syllabus.
