JU history department reunion held
SAVAR: Reunion of the history department of Jahangirnagar University (JU) was held on the campus yesterday amid festivity and fanfare. Marking the function the students and teachers of the department brought out a colorful rally from the department premises which terminated at the central Shaheed Minar on the campus. JU Pro Vice-chancellor Abul Hossain inaugurated the function as the chief guest while Treasurer Abul Khair addressed as the special guest. Later, a memory session and a cultural function were held at the Seminar room of Jahir Raihan auditorium. Presided over by Chairman of History department Professor ATM Atiqur Rahman, professor Enamul Haque Khan and Registrar Abu Bakr Siddique addressed the function among others.
