Bhutanese team visits Buddhist Monastery

A 12-member delegation of Bhutanese Parliament led by Chairperson (Speaker) of Bhutan National Council Sonam Kinga yesterday visited the International Buddhist Monastery at Merul Badda in the capital, reports BSS. On their arrival, the Bhutanese delegation members were given a red-carpet reception at the Monastery, said an official release. During the visit, a view-exchange was held at the Buddhist monastery between the Bhutanese delegation members and the Buddhist monastery representatives with Superintendent Dharmamitra Mahathero in the chair.
